Hi all, I was thinking of ideas to make this years show even more special.

Like having a party or something similar on the saturday evening.

so what do you guys think? any and all surgestions or comments welcome.

i just thought it would be a kewl idea?

I like the sound of a Saturday night party / disco, would definitely help swing the vote with the wife
so we both can go this year.

Hi Brian the shows great for all of the family I went last year for the day with my hubby and three year old and they both loved it so much so we are intending to stay for the weekend this year!!

The buttering up of the wife has already commenced, I think if I mention it once a week by easter should have the green light to book for the whole weekend.

going for the whole weekend is alot better.

also say there is an in door swimming pool

and a bar open most f the time.

nice little shops quite local too

Is the sea beside the seaside, beside the sea lol
Wont make it this year , as i will be going to Duisburg for the international show , its toooo close to the uk one,,,,,,would it not be better to have it every 2nd year?

Good point, but those who are keen on the fish scene manage to make it to both shows.

It also allows those that have come from further away to extend their stay and come to the Hayling show in the U.K. as well.

i would love to go to both shows as from what i have heard the duisberg show is massive! but hey maybe one day the u.k discus scene will intice people from all over to come to our one. though our continued effort and patience maybe it will.
