Because it is automated. Why are you letting it get to you so much? Do you know which weekend it is? Did you work it out? Then i'm sure others can too. If I could change it I would, I can't so I think of something else to do.

Thanks Ivan

I'll definately be going then. Are there a lot of stalls and fish on display? How much do you think it will cost to get in?

Not sure, I've never paid at the door as I usually stay on site - entrance is included if you stay on site.

Why are you letting it get to you so much?

When my husband rang the lady to book a room and mentioned the date, she said "that is not right" so he explained he was responding to an advert on here and she said "that is typical of them"

We are now going as a day visitor on Sunday only.

I would of thought as this site is promoting the Discus at the show the very least you could do is get the information correct, what happens if the organisers checks in and sees that its still wrong after what? 5 weeks?

Do you think it creates a very good impression, or ooze efficiency does it?

I wouldn't expect Grace to say that, normally very diplomatic.
The problem is that, as far as I know, there is only one person able to edit the page. The same person has/is going through a tough time personally with illness and other things and so has not had the opportunity, time or persuasion to update the details. The organisers are soley to blame for the misinformation and it is in no way related to FBAS.

Don't worry about the date being out by one day. We have to Give Dougal some slack for now as he and His good lady are on the mend. Mick I believe is also having some personal time out. So some common sense required here. :walkman:

No, you pay on the door, unless you are staying onsite, then you get free entry.

Contrary to popular belief, I have been busy looking after my ver poorly partner. Anyone was more than welcome to amend the dates instead of bein pedantic about it lol.

I do appologise :)

The dates are indead Saturday the 10th of October 2009 and Sunday the 11th October 2009 (for the public) But the show will be open for benching etc prior to that. There will be a post later today with final details once Mick has approved it.
